WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HYBRID AND THE REMOTE TRAINING?
The Hybrid training is a comprehensive course that covers our Basics to Level 2 curriculum. Trainees meet for 7 full days in-person to learn how to teach each skill in each level, then finish the course work, lectures, and homework remotely.
The Remote Fundamental course is an in-depth course that prepares beginner instructors to be a well-rounded, safe, and skillful teacher. This 4 month training is 100% remote with live lectures and pre-recorded content.
DO I HAVE TO SHOW UP FOR THE LIVE LECTURES?
Yes. All lectures will be live via Zoom and will not be recorded. Dates are released 5-9 months in advance to give applicants enough time to adjust their schedule.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIRED FOR THE TEACHER TRAININGS?
Yes. All participants must be 18
WHAT IS THE BEST TRAINING FOR ME?
The Fundamentals training is perfect for aerialists who are just starting their teaching journey or for aerialists who want to deepen and broaden their own understanding of fundamental aerial skills.
The Comprehensive training is best suited for experienced aerialists, who already have consistent training, due to the physically demanding curriculum.
The Aerial Instructor Enhancement Program welcomes all instructors, regardless of discipline, who want to continue their education. We focus on helping instructors teach movement and creativity in their aerial classroom.
